These milling attachments are interchangeable between a Hand Crank base and a Motorized base. The Hand Crank base is great for off-grid living, living in areas with frequent power outages, or for RV living. Since the milling attachments can be used on both Hand Crank and Motorized bases, this allows you to use the Motorized base when you have power, and the Hand Crank for times when power is not available.
Family Grain Mills also provides milling attachments for BOSCH, KitchenAid, Viking, and Electrolux Mixers. Many of these attachments can also be used on the Family Grain Mill Hand and Motorized bases. This allows using the milling attachments with your existing Mixer, and switching to the Hand Crank base when power is not available.
